This will reply to your letter of February 29, 1984 in which you submit an application for relief of individual income tax assessed to ***** as the result of a departmental compliance examination.
Based upon the information before me, I find no evidence that your client established domicile in Virginia for income tax purposes. Accordingly, the assessments issued to your client for the taxable years 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980 and 1981 will be abated immediately.
