ACH Debit Block Information

An ACH debit block helps protect your bank account from unauthorized electronic access. If you have debit block protection in place with your bank account, you’ll need to provide our company IDs to your bank for payments made to Virginia Tax.

We’ve recently added an additional company ID. If you currently have an ACH debit block in place and make payments to Virginia Tax, you’ll need to add this ID as soon as possible to avoid your bank rejecting your payment.

If you currently have an ACH debit block in place and make payments to Virginia Tax

• Give your bank this new company ID for Virginia Tax: 5546001745
• Add this new company ID as soon as possible (no later than Sept. 8, 2026)  
• Do not remove any of our other IDs from the debit block

If you’re setting up an ACH debit block for the first time

Give your bank all of these company IDs for your payments to Virginia Tax:

• 1546001745
• 2546001734
• 5546001745
